Our environmental commitment is evident in the choices we make. We want to lead the way in both equipment and technology.
Our fleet includes 50 trucks powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG), one of the cleaner fuel options available and a clear expression of our ambition to promote sustainable transport.
It is equally important to note that all our other Contino trucks are equipped with environmentally efficient technology meeting the highest Euro standard. This minimises pollution while reducing fuel costs.
Environmental training, testing and optimisation are high priorities
Contino owns its entire fleet. This allows us to test and optimise initiatives that benefit both the environment and operating economy.
Our technical department tests tyre types, pressures and fuel consumption, while our drivers receive ongoing training in safe, fuel-efficient driving.
Everything is focused on reducing fuel consumption and harmful emissions.
